Course Structure

Level 3 Certificate in Financial Accounting

Students will learn to identify qualitative characteristics of financial reporting, apply accounting concepts, and evaluate different business entities. They gain proficiency in double-entry accounting, accurate record-keeping, error detection, and financial statement preparation. Additionally, students analyze financial statements using key ratios to assess business performance effectively.

Level 3 Certificate in Cost and Management Accounting

This module equips students with vital skills in cost analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and investment appraisal. Through practical coursework, students learn to quantify materials, optimize inventory levels, analyze cost-volume-profit relationships, and implement activity-based costing techniques. Additionally, the course covers budget preparation, variance analysis, process costing, and investment appraisal methods like Discounted Cash Flow and Net Present Value, enhancing financial management capabilities.

Level 3 Certificate in Advanced Business Calculations

This module offers a comprehensive curriculum covering essential topics such as financial analysis, cost management, investment appraisal, and business terminology, equipping students with valuable skills for effective decision-making and financial management.

Entry Requirement

Age: 16 years old & above
Academic Requirement: No formal entry requirements

Course Completion & Certification

Upon completion and passing the examination, students will be awarded with the Certificates for IAB LCCI Level 3 Certificate in Financial Accounting (VRQ), IAB LCCI Level 3 Certificate in Cost and Management Accounting (VRQ), IAB LCCI Level 3 Certificate in Advanced Business Calculations (VRQ) by IAB.
Upon successfully completing the three required certificates within a two-year timeframe, students are eligible to apply for the Level 3 Combine Diploma in Accounting and Finance.
